I bought a 1993 mazda mx-6 about a month ago from an auto auction. It seemed to be fine when I bought it but it has been a huge headache since we got it home. Luckly my dad is a mechanic. Anyway my dad and I seem to be at a loss. You name it we have changed or fixed it. My dad basically gave it a tune up. How ever we are still having problems with it. It is very slugish. My dad has tried to fix the timing, and I believe that he changed the timing belt. Seems a little better but still very slugish. But the biggist problem is that it stalls out like you would not believe. When you start the car you have to put your foot on the gas to keep it above 1000 rpm or it will stall out. You littlerly have to drive it with both feet. One on the gas to keep it above 1000 rpm and the other on the break when you need to stop. We are not sure what else to do.
