I am new to the site so I apologize if this is not the correct forum for my question.
I am looking at buying a 2009 GMC vehicle for well below MSRP. When I ran the carfax report it shows that it was sold at auction as a "Manufacturer Vehicle". It only has 209 miles on it. My understanding is manufacturer vehicles are demo's used by the dealership and typically beat to hell. My concern is why it would have been sent to auction after only been driven for 200 miles? I really want the car, but I'm concerned this might be a too good to be true deal.
