Hello... the ac on the car has high pressures (~60psi) on the low side when the ambient is like 100F. And its not cooling anything no wonder.
Haven't checked the high side yet but will do soon.
Now i read somewhere (yahoo answers ) that the low is supposed to get lower and the high side higher as i rev the engine? But this clearly is not happening, the low side pressure rises as i raise the engine rpm. Its a new setup. All hoses, coils, and receiver/dryer are for R134a while the compressor is of R12 type.
Is the system overcharged but i think you'll need the high reading to conclude that?
